Cinemark to redeem $100 million 8¾% secured notes due 2025

Buffalo, N.Y., March 30 – Cinemark USA, Inc., via trustee Computershare Trust Services, NA, sent notice of optional redemption to holders of its outstanding 8¾% senior secured notes due 2025 (Cusips: U17176AJ4, 172441BC0), according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company plans to redeem $100 million of the outstanding notes, together with accrued and unpaid interest, at 102.188 on May 1.

Following the partial redemption, $150 million of the notes will remain outstanding.

Cinemark is a Plano, Tex.-based motion picture exhibitor. The issuer is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cinemark Holdings, Inc.
