First Quantum Minerals to redeem $400 million 6½% notes due 2024

Lexington, Ky., March 17 – First Quantum Minerals Ltd. plans to issue a notice of redemption for $400 million of its outstanding 6½% senior notes due March 2024 (Cusips: 335934AP0, C3535CAH1), according to a company news release.

The notes will be redeemed on March 28 at par plus accrued interest up to but excluding the redemption date.

The copper producer is based in Vancouver, B.C.
