Standard Chartered to early redeem perpetual securities on April 2

Lexington, Ky., March 1 – Standard Chartered plc has called its $1 billion fixed-rate resetting perpetual subordinated contingent convertible securities (ISINs: US853254BH21, USG84228CX43), according to a notice.
The securities will be redeemed on April 2 at par plus accrued interest.
The securities will be canceled and delisted. They were originally issued Jan. 18, 2017.
The banking and financial services company is based in London.
