Banco do Brasil to fully redeem 9¼% perpetuals on April 15

Lexington, Ky., Feb. 14 – Banco do Brasil SA, acting through its Grand Cayman branch, will fully redeem its outstanding Banbra 9¼% perpetual non-cumulative junior subordinated securities (Cusips: 05958AAG3, P3772WAC6) on April 15, according to a notice.

The redemption will total $1,285,950,000 plus $59,475,187.50 in accrued interest.

Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent.

The Rule 144A and Regulation S securities were originally issued Jan. 20, 2012.

The government-owned bank is based in Brasilia, Brazil.
