Romania updates final results from one-day switch tender offer
Chicago, Jan. 17 – Post-settlement, Romania provided an update of the final results from its one-day switch tender offer conducted on Jan. 5, according to a notice.
On Jan. 5, Romania conducted a tender offer for its $1,281,989,000 4 3/8% notes due Aug. 22, 2023 (ISIN: US77586TAC09, US77586RAB69) and $887,958,000 outstanding 4 7/8% notes due Jan. 22, 2024 (ISIN: US77586TAD81, US77586RAD26).
The same amounts for the 2023 notes were given in the post-settlement update: Romania purchased all $98,402,000 of preferred tenders and none of the $62,554,000 of non-preferred tenders.
There was a relatively minor change for the amounts relating to the 2024 notes. Romania ended up accepting all $140,686,000 of the preferred tenders (instead of $144,206,000) and still none of the $14.34 million of non-preferred tenders.
