By Mary-Katherine Stinson

Lexington, Ky., Jan. 9 – Vertex Venture Holdings Ltd. redeemed 47,749 class B redeemable preference shares of its $450 million 3.3% notes due 2028 on Jan. 9, in a redemption that totaled $4,774,900, according to a notice on Monday.

The notes were originally issued under Vertex’s $2 billion multicurrency debt issuance program.

The buyback was funded by redemption proceeds from the issuer’s investment in Vertex Master Fund II Pte Ltd., which received a distribution from one of its underlying funds.

Vertex is a venture capital investment holding company based in Singapore.
