Bank loan funds see $465 million Friday outflows, $5 billion outflows over past five weeks

Portland, Ore., Sept. 26 – The dedicated bank loan funds sustained $465 million of net outflows on Friday, the most recent session for which data was available at press time, according to a market source.

Bank-loan ETFs saw $268 million of outflows on the day.

Actively managed bank loan funds sustained $197 million of outflows on Friday, the source said.

The combined funds are tracking $775 million of net outflows for the week that will conclude with Wednesday's close.

The bank loan funds sustained $1.2 billion of net outflows in the most recent week on record, to the Wednesday, Sept. 21 close, according to the market source.

In the past five weeks the combined funds have seen $5 billion of net outflows, the source said.

The combined funds have seen $3.8 billion of net inflows in the year to Friday's close, according to the market source.
