Indonesia tenders for $500 million from six bonds in one-day offer

Chicago, Sept. 6 – Republic of Indonesia is offering to purchase up to $500 million principal amount from six bonds, according to an announcement.

The six old bonds in the offer are separated into two group.

In the first group there are the:

• $757.77 million outstanding 5 3/8% global bonds due Oct. 17, 2023 (Cusips: Y20721BH1, 455780BP0) with a $1,026.50 purchase price; and the

• $1,726,385,000 outstanding 5 7/8% global bonds due Jan. 15, 2024 (Cusips: Y20721BJ7, 455780BQ8) with a $1,031 purchase price.

The second group includes the:

• $2,169,731,000 outstanding 4¾% global bonds due Jan. 8, 2026 (Cusips: Y20721BN8, 455780BV7) with a $1,024 purchase price;

• $1.6 billion outstanding 8½% global bonds due Oct. 12, 2035 (Cusips: Y20721AE9, 455780AT3) with a $1,279.20 purchase price;

• $1.5 billion outstanding 6 5/8% global bonds due Feb. 17, 2037 (Cusips: Y20721AJ8, 455780AX4) with a $1,108.25 purchase price; and

• $2 billion outstanding 7¾% global bonds due Jan. 17, 2038 (Cusips: Y20721AL3, 455780AZ9) with a $1,215 purchase price.

The purchase prices are based on par of $1,000 bonds.

Group 1 bonds have acceptance priority over group 2 bonds.

Current bondholders may indicate interest in the new offering, expressed as either a preferred tender or a non-preferred tender.

The group 1 bonds may submit an indication of interest for new bonds due 2032.

The global bonds due 2026 may also submit interest for bonds due 2032.

And, the last three bonds may express interest in new bonds due 2052.

Tenders may be subject to proration.

The offer is conditioned on the pricing of the new bonds.

The offer will end at the end of bookbuilding for the new bonds, or at some point on Tuesday.

Results should be announced by 3 a.m. ET on Sept. 7.

Settlement is expected on Sept. 13.
