Chorus Aviation redeems C$85 million 6% debentures due 2024

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 31 – Chorus Aviation Inc. redeemed an C$85 million portion of its 6% debentures due Dec. 31, 2024 on Friday, according to a press release.

The debentures were redeemed using proceeds of the 5¾% senior debentures due June 30, 2027 issued by Chorus on Sept. 27 as well as available cash.

Following the redemption, C$115 million of the 6% debentures remained outstanding.

The Dartmouth, N.S.-based holding company controls regional and charter airline operator Jazz Aviation LP.
