China Aircraft buys back more 4.7% guaranteed bonds due 2022

Buffalo, N.Y., Dec. 9 – China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Ltd. repurchased $62.1 million, or 20.7%, of its $300 million 4.7% guaranteed bonds due in 2022, according to a notice on Thursday.

To date, the company has repurchased an aggregate of $94,197,000 of the bonds, representing 31.4% of the initial issue.

The company has canceled $10.7 million of the bonds and expects to cancel the other $83,497,000 as soon as practicable.

After all of the repurchased bonds are canceled, there will be $205,803,000, or 68.6%, of the bonds outstanding.

The company will make a further announcement for each subsequent 5% interval of redeemed or canceled bonds.

The aircraft leasing company is based in Hong Kong.
