Landsea Green Properties buys another $15.5 million of green notes

Chicago, Dec. 6 – Landsea Green Properties Co., Ltd. and a controlling shareholder have repurchased a combined additional $15.5 million of the company’s notes on the open market from two series, according to an announcement.

The company bought $11.5 million of its $200 million 10½% green senior notes due June 2022.

Tian Ming, a controlling shareholder, executive director and chairman of the board of directors of the company, recently purchased $4 million of the company’s $200 million 10¾% green senior notes due October 2022.

The company and Tian are “very willing” to continue to repurchase the outstanding notes in the open market.

As of Monday, there are $87.94 million of the June notes remaining and there are $165 million of the October notes still outstanding.

The repurchased notes may or may not be canceled, at the company’s discretion.

Landsea is a Nanjing, China-based investment holding company focused on property development, securities trading and financial services.
