First Quantum Minerals plans partial $600 million redemption of 7¼% notes due 2023

Concord, N.H., Nov. 30 – First Quantum Minerals Ltd. issued a notice of partial redemption for $600 million of its outstanding 7¼% senior notes due April 2023 (Cusip: 335934AK1, C3535CAF5), according to a company news release on Tuesday.

A redemption price of 101.813 plus accrued interest will be paid to holders of record selected by lot and notified by the Depository Trust Co.

The notes will be redeemed on Dec. 7.

The aggregate principal amount outstanding following the partial redemption will be $1 billion.

The issuer is a Vancouver, B.C.-based copper producer.
