Centrus ends series B preferred tender offer, will redeem remainder

Chicago, Nov. 23 – Centrus Energy Corp. announced that it has issued a notice of redemption to redeem all of the series B preferred shares outstanding after the consummation of its tender offer, according to an announcement.

The company had previously announced the results of its tender offer, which resulted in 97.4% of the series B preferred stock being tendered by the 5 p.m. ET Nov. 18 deadline.

Based on the final results, the requisite consent of at least 90% of the outstanding series B preferred shares was obtained and the company is now able to call the rest.

Payment for the tender offer was made on Tuesday.

Centrus is a Bethesda, Md.-based supplier of nuclear fuel and advanced technology services.
