BNY Mellon to redeem all of its series E trust perpetual preferreds

Concord, N.H., Nov. 19 – Bank of New York Mellon Corp. will redeem all of its series E trust non-cumulative perpetual preferred stock and corresponding depositary shares on Dec. 20, according to a company press release.

There are 10,000 shares of the preferreds and 1 million depositary shares outstanding.

The redemption price will be $1,000 per depositary share, equivalent to $100,000 per share of series E preferred stock, excluding the dividend payment, which will be payable on the redemption date to holders of record.

After the redemption date, the securities will no longer be deemed outstanding and dividends will no longer accrue.

Equiniti Trust Co. (800 205-7699) is the depositary, transfer agent and registrar for the securities.
