Hong Kong’s AMTD repurchases 22.38% of 4˝% perpetual securities

Chicago, Oct. 28 – AMTD International Inc. announced the open-market voluntary early repurchase of S$11,188,000, or 22.38% of its senior perpetual securities (ISIN: XS2165872198), according to a press release.

The securities may or may not be canceled.

Current market conditions are favorable. The company also bought back the securities to enhance its overall capital structure by utilizing available internal working capital resources.

The notes had been issued under the company’s $1 billion medium-term note program.

The financial institution is based in Hong Kong.
