Japan Tobacco sets make-whole redemption prices for 2023, 2026 notes

Los Angeles, Oct. 13 – Japan Tobacco Inc. issued notices of the make-whole redemption amount for its $500 million of 2.8% senior notes due 2026 (ISIN: XS1394761073) and the $525 million 3.5% guaranteed notes due 2023 issued by JT International Financial Services BV (ISIN: XS1883352681) and guaranteed by Japan Tobacco.
The 2026 notes will be redeemed at $1,066.54 per $1,000 principal amount, plus accrued interest to the Oct. 15 redemption date amounting to $0.16 per $1,000 principal amount.
The 2023 notes will be redeemed at $1,059.29 per $1,000 principal amount, plus accrued interest to the Oct. 15 redemption date of $1.65 per $1,000 of notes.
The cigarette maker is based in Tokyo.
