Hong Kong’s Television Broadcasts cancels some 3 5/8% notes

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 4 – Television Broadcasts Ltd. said it canceled $264.82 million, or 52.96%, of the $500 million 3 5/8% guaranteed notes due 2021 issued by TVB Finance Ltd. (ISIN: XS1495978329) on Monday.

The notes were canceled following on-market repurchases and a tender offer to purchase the notes, according to a notice. The canceled notes had been held by the company.

Following the cancellation, $235.18 million of the notes remain outstanding.

Hong Kong-based Television Broadcasts operates five digital television channels.
