Newell Brands to redeem €299.98 million of 3¾% notes from two series

Concord, N.H., Aug. 25 – Newell Brands Inc. plans to redeem €271,851,000 of its 3¾% notes due 2021 issued Nov. 19, 2014 and €28,125,000 of the 3¾% senior notes due 2021 issued July 14, 2014, referred to as the Jarden notes.

The company plans to redeem the notes on Sept. 28 at par plus a make-whole premium, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Wells Fargo Bank NA is trustee of the Jarden notes, and U.S. Bank NA is trustee of the other series.

Atlanta-based Newell Brands is a consumer and commercial products company, with brands including Rubbermaid, Paper Mate, Sharpie, Elmer’s, Coleman and Sunbeam.
