Air Canada will use new term loan to refinance bonds due 2023, 2024

Chicago, July 19 – Air Canada announced that proceeds from a new term loan will be used to refinance the company’s C$200 million 4¾% senior notes due 2023 and its C$840 million 9% second-lien notes due 2024, according to a press release and a market source.

Proceeds will also be used to refinance the company’s existing $600 million revolver due 2024 and $580 million term loan B due 2023.

Air Canada is a Montreal-based airline company.
