Discovery Communications, Scripps to redeem 3.3% and 3.5% notes
Chicago, July 1 – Discovery Communications, LLC and Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc. have issued notices for the redemption of all $167,868,000 of the 3.3% notes due 2022 (Cusip: 25470DAF6) issued by Discovery, the $53,334,000 of 3.5% notes due 2022 (Cusips: 25470DAZ2, U25478AE5, 25470DBA6) also issued by Discovery and the $8,426,000 of 3.5% notes due 2022 (Cusip: 811065AF8) issued by Scripps, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be redeemed on July 31 at par plus a make-whole premium of 25 basis points.
Discovery is a global media company based in Silver Spring, Md. The company acquired Scripps.
