Dai-ichi to redeem $1.3 billion of 7¼% step-up perpetual subordinated notes

Concord, N.H., June 18 – Dai-ichi Life Insurance Co. Ltd. issued a notice of redemption for all of its 7¼% step-up callable perpetual subordinated notes (ISINs: US23380YAB39, USJ09748AB01), according to a company notice.

The company will redeem $1.3 billion outstanding principal amount of notes on July 25 at par plus accrued interest of $36.25 per $1,000 principal amount.

Bank of New York Mellon is paying agent.

The insurance services company is based in Tokyo.
