Great Elm plans to redeem 6.5% notes due 2022

Concord, N.H., June 16 – Great Elm Capital Corp. plans to redeem all of its outstanding 6.5% notes due 2022 with proceeds of a new notes issue, according to a company release.

The offering of new unsecured notes due 2026 commenced on Wednesday. The proceeds will be used for the redemption and related fees and expenses and for general corporate purposes.

Great Elm is a Waltham, Mass.-based middle market investment company.
