Energizer to redeem €650 million 4 5/8% notes due 2026 via new notes

Concord, N.H., June 9 – Energizer Gamma Acquisition BV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Energizer Holdings, Inc. plans to redeem its €650 million 4 5/8% senior notes due 2026 on July 9, according to a company news release.

Subject to the issuance of new notes to fund the redemption, Energizer plans to pay par plus a make-whole premium and accrued and unpaid interest for the 4 5/8% notes.

A new €650 million issue of notes due 2029 are being offered under Rule 144A and Regulation S. They will be guaranteed jointly and severally by the company and certain of the company’s domestic restricted subsidiaries.

The battery maker is based in St. Louis.
