Bank of China redeems RMB 32 billion fixed-rate subordinated bonds

Concord, N.H. May 20 – Bank of China Ltd. redeemed the RMB 32 billion of fixed-rate subordinated bonds that it issued on May 17, 2011, according to a notice.

The bonds were redeemed as a result of the bank exercising the 10-year call option on Wednesday.

The bank is based in Beijing.
