CenterPoint calls all $500 million 3.6% notes due 2021

Columbus, Ohio, May 14 – CenterPoint Energy, Inc. called all of its outstanding $500 million of 3.6% notes due 2021, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be redeemed on June 1 at the greater of par and the sum of the present values of the remaining scheduled payments of principal and interest discounted at Treasuries plus 12.5 basis points, in each case plus accrued interest.
CenterPoint Energy is a Houston-based electricity transmitter and distributor.
