Prospect Capital gives results of tender offers for $30 million each of 5.875%, 6.375% notes

Concord, N.H., May 5 – Prospect Capital Corp. announced that it obtained tenders of $1,062,000 of its outstanding 5.875% notes due 2023 (Cusip: 74348TAJ1) and outstanding 6.375% notes due 2024 (Cusip: 74348TAS1), according to a news release.

As of the expiration of the offer at midnight ET on May 5, the company had received $836,000 aggregate principal amount of the 2023 notes, representing about 0.29% of the outstanding 2023 notes, and $226,000 aggregate principal amount of the 2024 Notes, representing about 0.28% of the 2024 notes.

The company has accepted for purchase all 2023 Notes that were validly tendered and not validly withdrawn and all 2024 notes that were validly tendered and not validly withdrawn.

The company was offering $1,041.50 per $1,000 of 2023 notes tendered and $1,075 per $1,000 of 2024 notes tendered, plus interest.

Following settlement, there will be about $284,219,000 aggregate principal amount of the 2023 notes remaining outstanding, and about $81,389,000 aggregate principal amount of the 2024 notes remaining outstanding.
