Manulife to redeem all $1 billion 4.7% notes due 2046 on June 23

Chicago, April 26 – Manulife Financial Corp. announced that it plans to redeem all of its outstanding $1 billion 4.7% senior notes due June 23, 2046 on June 23 at par, according to a press release.

The notes become optionally redeemable for the first time on that date.

Interest will also be included in the redemption price up to the date of redemption.

Manulife is a financial services group based in Toronto.
