Cenovus successfully concludes 6.8% note consent solicitation
Chicago, April 21 – Cenovus Energy Inc. successfully concluded its consent solicitation for its $386,773,000 of 6.8% notes due 2037 (Cusip: 448055AD5), according to a news release on Wednesday.
Cenovus did not announce the amount of notes for which it received consents, only that it has received sufficient consents for the amendment.
The issuer was seeking consents to amend the pledge agreement on the notes.
A consent fee of $1.00 per $1,000 notes will be paid to consenting noteholders.
The consent solicitation expired at 5 p.m. ET on April 20.
