Goldman Sachs plans to redeem series N preferred stock
Chicago, April 19 – Goldman Sachs Group Inc. announced the potential upcoming redemption of all of its outstanding 6.3% series N non-cumulative preferred stock (NYSE: GSPrN), according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.
The company will redeem the preferreds with the proceeds from a new offering of series T fixed-rate reset non-cumulative preferred stock.
Should the new offering be successful, the bank will issue a notice of redemption.
