Cenovus begins consent solicitation for 6.8% notes due 2037

Chicago, April 12 – Cenovus Energy Inc. launched a consent solicitation for its $386,773,000 of 6.8% notes due 2037 (Cusip: 448055AD5), according to a news release on Monday.

Cenovus is seeking consent to conform the 2037 notes pledge agreement to the pledge agreements in respect of the 2029 notes and the 2024 notes.

A consent fee of $1.00 per $1,000 notes will be paid to consenting noteholders.

The consent solicitation expires at 5 p.m. ET on April 20.
