Verizon Communications to redeem 2.946% notes due 2022 on May 10

Concord, N.H., April 9 – Verizon Communications Inc. has announced that it will redeem its outstanding $713,343,000 of 2.946% notes due 2022 (Cusips: 92343VDM3, 92343VDQ4), according to a company press release.
The notes will be redeemed on May 10 for the greater of par or the sum of the remaining scheduled payments of principal and interest discounted to the redemption date on a semiannual basis at Treasuries plus 15 basis points.
Pricing will be determined on the third business day before the redemption date.
The paying agent is U.S. Bank NA.
The telecommunications company is based in New York.
