Alaska Student Loan Corp. seeks to amend notes for early redemption

Chicago, March 31 – The Alaska Student Loan Corp. is planning to enter negotiations with one or more institutional holders of its 2013A taxable education loan-backed notes, according to a press release.

The issuer wants to amend the notes to allow for an early redemption.

Following the negotiations, a more formal solicitation of consent may be initiated aimed at a majority of noteholders to amend the indenture.
