WPX Energy to redeem three series of notes due 2027, 2028, 2030

New York, March 11 – WPX Energy, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Devon Energy Corp., plans to redeem $210 million of its 5¼% senior notes due 2027, $175 million of its 5 7/8% senior notes due 2028 and $315 million 4½% senior notes due 2030, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The 2027 notes will be redeemed at 105.25, the 2028 notes will be redeemed at 105.875, and the 2030 notes will be redeemed at 104.5.

WPX will also pay interest on each series of notes.

The 2028 notes and 2030 notes will be redeemed on March 26, and the 2027 notes will be redeemed April 10.

WPX is a Tulsa, Okla.-based independent energy producer with core acreage positions in the Permian and Williston basins.
