CHS/Community Health to redeem 8 5/8% senior notes due 2024

Chicago, Jan. 26 – CHS/Community Health Systems, Inc. announced that it plans to redeem all of its outstanding 8 5/8% senior secured notes due 2024 with the proceeds of new $1.095 billion 4¾% senior secured notes due 2031 that the issuer priced on Tuesday, according to a press release.

CHS is Franklin, Tenn.-based operator of acute care and outpatient facilities.
