Academy Sports to repay portion of its $1.43 billion loan

New York, Oct. 26 – Academy Sports and Outdoors, Inc. plans to repay a portion of the $1.434 billion outstanding under its term loan facility using proceeds from its $400 million offering of senior secured notes due 2027, according to a news release.

The proceeds will also pay for any related fees and expenses.

Academy Sports is a Katy, Tex.-based sports, outdoor and lifestyle retailer.
