United Airlines to pay down $2 billion of term loan via new notes

New York, May 6 – United Airlines Inc. plans to repay $2 billion outstanding under its term loan facility entered into on March 9 with proceeds from an offering of notes.

The final terms and amount of the notes are subject to market and other conditions, according to a company release.

The airline is based in Chicago.
