Bank of China redeems RMB 24 billion subordinated bonds

Columbus, Ohio, July 9 – Bank of China Ltd. redeemed the RMB 24 billion of 15-year subordinated bonds that it issued on July 6, 2009, according to a notice.

The bonds were redeemed as a result of the bank exercising its 10th-anniversary call option on Monda.

The bank is based in Beijing.
