Lafarge accepts tenders for $76.91 million of 7.125% notes due 2036

Olympia, Wash., June 20 – Lafarge SA announced the results of its tender offer for any and all of its $600 million 7.125% notes due 2036 that expired at 5 p.m. ET on June 19.

The company received and accepted $76,912,000 of validly tendered notes by the deadline, according to a Thursday press release.

As previously reported, the tender offer consideration per $1,000 principal amount will be $1,255. Holders will also receive accrued interest.

Settlement is expected for June 24.

The company said the purpose of the tender offer is to provide liquidity to holders and to deleverage the balance sheet of the Lafarge Holcim group following recent asset disposals and also to optimize its cost of financing.
