India’s Tata International tenders, seeks consents for two note series

Chicago, Sept. 27 – Tata International Singapore Pte. Ltd. began a tender offer and consent solicitation for its S$50 million of 4.3% senior notes due 2018 and its S$150 million of 6.65% guaranteed senior perpetual capital securities.

The notes are guaranteed by Tata International Ltd.

The company also is soliciting consents to amend the notes to insert an option to call the notes at par plus accrued interest with at least five days' notice.

The company will hold meetings on Nov. 9 in Singapore.

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. is the dealer manager.

Citicorp International Ltd. is the trustee for the 4.3% notes. Bank of New York Mellon, Singapore Branch is the trustee for the perpetuals.

Tata International is a leather manufacturer based in Mumbai, India.
