Pennsylvania Higher Education defeases $143.16 million Temple bonds

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 7 – The Pennsylvania Higher Educational Facilities Authority defeased $143,156,000 of Temple University revenue bonds, first series of 2006, according to a notice.
The following bonds will be redeemed April 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date:
• $6,465,000 of bonds due April 1, 2017;
• $6,815,000 of bonds due April 1, 2018;
• $7.16 million of bonds due April 1, 2019;
• $7.46 million of bonds due April 1, 2020;
• $7.78 million of bonds due April 1, 2021;
• $11.39 million of bonds due April 1, 2022;
• $11.95 million of bonds due April 1, 2023;
• $12.43 million of bonds due April 1, 2024;
• $13.14 million of bonds due April 1, 2025;
• $13.72 million of bonds due April 1, 2026;
• $14.28 million of bonds due April 1, 2027;
• $14.95 million of bonds due April 1, 2028; and
• $15,615,000 of bonds due April 1, 2029.
Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the escrow agent.
