Dallas Area Rapid Transit defeases 2007, 2008 sales tax revenue bonds

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 23 – Dallas Area Rapid Transit defeased its series 2007 and 2008 senior-lien sales tax revenue bonds, according to two notices.

The following 2007 bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Dec. 1, 2016:

• $12,775,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2017;

• $13.64 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2018;

• $6,125,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2019;

• $12,995,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2020;

• $13,665,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2021;

• $14.36 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2022;

• $5,075,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2023;

• $18.36 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2024;

• $19,205,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2025;

• $20.09 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2026;

• $21,015,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2027;

• $53.65 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2032; and

• $111,435,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2036.

In addition, DART redeemed $20 million of the bonds due Dec. 1, 2036. The bonds were redeemed on Dec. 11.

The following 2008 bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Dec. 1, 2018:

• $9.88 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2019;

• $10,385,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2020;

• $10.92 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2021;

• $11.48 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2022;

• $12.07 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2023;

• $12,685,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2024; and

• $13,335,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2025.

In addition, DART redeemed $30 million of the bonds due Dec. 1, 2043. The bonds were redeemed on Dec. 11.
