Hemet USD, Calif., defeases $100 million of 2006A, 2006B G.O. bonds

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 22 – The Hemet Unified School District, Calif., defeased $60 million of series 2006A and $40 million of series 2006B general obligation bonds, according to two notices.

The 2006A bonds, which are due Aug. 1, 2016 to 2028, 2032 and 2037, will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Aug. 1, 2015.

The 2006B bonds, which are due Aug. 1, 2017 to 2019, 2021 to 2022, 2024 to 2028, 2030 to 2032 and 2037 to 2038, will be redeemed at 102 plus accrued interest on Aug. 1, 2016.

U.S. Bank NA is the escrow agent.
