Richland County School District, S.C., defeases $165.36 million G.O.s

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 9 – The Richland County School District No. 1 of South Carolina defeased $165,355,000 of its series 2005A, 2006B and 2007A general obligation bonds, according to multiple notices.

The district will redeem $34.67 million of series 2005A bonds due March 1, 2016 through 2024. The bonds will be redeemed on March 1, 2015.

It will also redeem $62.1 million of series 2006B bonds due March 1, 2018 through 2027. The bonds will be redeemed on March 1, 2017.

Finally, the district will redeem $68,585,000 of series 2007A bonds due March 1, 2019 through 2029 and 2032. The bonds will be redeemed on March 1, 2018.
