Fort Lauderdale, Fla., defeases $98.66 million water and sewer bonds

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 3 – The City of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., defeased $98.66 million of its series 2008 water and sewer revenue bonds, according to a notice.

The bonds are due Sept. 1, 2021 through 2028, 2032 and 2035 and March 1, 2022 through 2028. They will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Sept. 1, 2017.

Regions Bank is the escrow agent.
