EarthLink amends credit agreement to allow $30 million note buyback

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Nov. 21 – EarthLink Holdings Corp. amended and restated its credit agreement on Wednesday with Regions Bank as administrative and collateral agent, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The amendment’s purpose is to allow the company to repurchase with cash on hand up to $30 million of its 8 7/8% senior notes due 2019 and/or its 7 3/8% senior secured notes due 2020, as long as the purchases comply with the terms of the credit agreement and the terms of the indentures governing the notes.

There are no assurances that the company will repurchase any notes, the filing said.

EarthLink is an Atlanta-based IT services and communications provider.
