Chandler, Ariz., plans to refund 2007, 2009 general obligation bonds

Norfolk, Va., Oct. 30 – The City of Chandler, Ariz., gave notice of advance refunding for its series 2007 and 2009 general obligation bonds, according to two notices.
The following 2007 bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on July 1, 2017:
• $7.3 million of bonds due July 1, 2018;
• $7.4 million of bonds due July 1, 2019;
• $7.5 million of bonds due July 1, 2020;
• $7,625,000 of bonds due July 1, 2021;
• $7,725,000 of bonds due July 1, 2022;
• $8.85 million of bonds due July 1, 2023; and
• $9 million of bonds due July 1, 2024.
The following 2009 bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on July 1, 2018:
• $12.6 million of bonds due July 1, 2019;
• $15.2 million of bonds due July 1, 2020;
• $16.5 million of bonds due July 1, 2021;
• $17.2 million of bonds due July 1, 2022;
• $17 million of bonds due July 1, 2023;
• $17.5 million of bonds due July 1, 2024;
• $18 million of bonds due July 1, 2025;
• $18.3 million of bonds due July 1, 2026; and
• $26.84 million of bonds due July 1, 2028.
The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the refunded registrar.
