Cermaq: Acquisition triggers change-of-control put on bonds due 2019

Norfolk, Va., Oct. 30 – Cermaq ASA announced a change-of-control put option has been triggered on its senior unsecured bonds due 2019, according to a notice from bond trustee Nordic Trustee ASA.

MC Ocean Holdings Ltd. has bought 92.16% of the shares of Cermaq, triggering a change-of-control event.

Noteholders have until Dec. 29 to put their notes for a price of par plus accrued interest to the settlement date.

Cermaq is a fish farming and fish feed group based in Oslo.
