Metropolitan Transportation, N.Y., calls $17.91 million 2008C bonds

Norfolk, Va., Oct. 20 – The Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York called $17,905,000 of its series 2008C transportation revenue bonds, according to a notice.

The authority will redeem $15.23 million of 5.5% bonds due Nov. 15, 2018 and $2,675,000 of 5.75% bonds due Nov. 15, 2018.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Nov. 15.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee agent.
