Consolidated Communications to repay Enventis debt via new offering

Norfolk, Va., Sept. 4 – Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. plans to use the proceeds from a senior notes offering to pay the fees and expenses in connection with the transactions contemplated by its proposed acquisition of Enventis Corp. and to repay Enventis’ existing debt, according to a press release.
Proceeds will also be used to repay a portion of Consolidated Communications, Inc.’s outstanding 10 7/8% senior notes due 2020 or its incremental term loan facility due 2020.
Consolidated Communications is a Mattoon, Ill.-based provider of advanced communications services. Enventis is a Mankato, Minn.-based operator of a next-generation fiber network.
