East Bay Municipal Utility, Calif., defeases wastewater system bonds

Norfolk, Va., Aug. 28 – The East Bay Municipal Utility District of California defeased $49.1 million of its series 2008C and $42.71 million of its series 2011A wastewater system revenue refunding bonds, according to two notices.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Sept. 2.

The Bank of New York Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
